Acapulco cliff divers

La Quebrada is a cliff 45 meters high, with a channel seven meters wide and four meters deep, located in the port of Acapulco, Guerrero, in southern Mexico, which was created by dynamiting a hill. Since 1934, the famous dives have been performed there by young people from the port who sometimes climb it with a lit torch. Its danger lies in the fact that the diver must calculate the moment when the wave makes the sea level higher, otherwise it would be certain death due to the impact against the rocks at the bottom, located at a shallow depth when the sea level drops due to the swell.
